Questions people actually ask
If something here contradicts a legal document, the legal document governs — and please tell us, so we can fix the wording.
Search visibility work
Can you guarantee a ranking or a spot in an AI answer?
No, and neither can anyone else. Ranking and citation are decided by systems we do not control and which change without notice. What we commit to is the work, the schedule, and reporting you can audit yourself. If an agency guarantees a position, ask them what happens contractually when they miss it — the answer is usually nothing.
How is AI search visibility different from SEO?
They overlap but the failure modes differ. SEO is largely about being ranked among a list of results. AI visibility is about being retrievable, parseable and trusted enough that an assistant names you inside a written answer. A page can rank well and still never be cited, usually because the claim is not extractable or the assistant's crawler cannot reach it at all.
How long before anything changes?
Technical fixes can show up in weeks. Content and authority work is slower and depends on how competitive the queries are. We would rather tell you at the audit stage that a particular query is not winnable in your timeframe than take a retainer against it.
Do we have to buy hosting from you as well?
No. Plenty of clients take one or the other. Where we do both, infrastructure fixes are faster because there is no ticket queue between finding a problem and fixing it.
VPS hosting
How quickly is a server ready?
We provision manually while our upstream provider is being finalised, so a new server is typically ready within 4 hours of a confirmed payment rather than in seconds. Your dashboard shows the status the whole time. If that window does not work for you, say so before you buy.
Do I get root access?
Yes, on every plan. You can also rebuild the server from the dashboard whenever you want to start over.
Is there a minimum term?
No. Billing is monthly. Cancel from your dashboard and the subscription stops at the end of the period you have already paid for — we do not ask why and there is no retention call.
What happens if you miss the uptime commitment?
Our SLA states a 99.9% monthly target and sets out the service credit you are owed if we miss it. The amount is written down in advance rather than negotiated after an outage.
Can I upgrade later?
Yes. Moving to a larger plan is prorated against the period you have paid for. Disk expansion is not always reversible, so downgrades may require a rebuild — we will tell you before doing anything irreversible.
What am I not allowed to host?
The Acceptable Use Policy lists it plainly — no spam, no malware distribution, no phishing, no infringing content, nothing that attacks other networks. Worth two minutes before you buy rather than after a suspension.
Billing
How do I pay?
By card, monthly, in US dollars. The subscription renews automatically until you cancel, and you get an invoice for every payment in your dashboard.
Can I get a refund?
New servers carry a 7-day refund provided the server has not been used beyond initial setup. Service engagements are billed for work already done and are not refundable retrospectively, but you can stop a retainer at any time and the next period is not charged.
What happens if a payment fails?
We retry and email you. Servers are suspended rather than deleted after a grace period, and your data is retained for a further window so a failed card does not cost you your work. The exact periods are in the Terms of Service.
Data and privacy
Where is my data processed?
In the region you choose for your server, plus our own systems for billing and support. The Privacy Policy names our sub-processors and where each one operates.
Do you sign a data processing agreement?
Yes. Our standard DPA is published rather than kept behind a sales conversation, so you can read it before you talk to us.
